Thanks to the likes of celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and now Kylie Jenner 2015 was a sensational year for wig wearers. No longer are wigs seen as just for fancy dress or cosplay but are being used as fashion accessories much to the delight of people such as me.

Wigs are a great way of changing up your look without your hair paying a hefty price. To date I have 6 wigs all of which are placed on polyester heads on the top of my wardrobe to keep them in a nice condition. Wigs can be good quality without you having to spend lots of money. It is most likely that the celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Lady Gaga have real human hair wigs but synthetic can be just as good if they are given the proper care. All of my wigs were bought off of either Amazon or Ebay.

However be cautious as to who you are buying off, check reviews, make sure you can see the wig from different angles and check the return policy. A wig can sometimes appear a different colour on screen compared to in real life. Lace front wigs are the ones to go for as they give the most realistic look.

The best way to avoid this happening is to gel your baby hairs back and then place your wig cap on. You dont necessarily have to use either glue or tape your wig will still stay in place thanks to clips inside the wig but it is just the extra touch to make it look all the more realistic.
