As I have already expressed I love Brighton for many reasons and one of the most important reasons is the lanes. The fashion is unlike anywhere else and varies according to your location within the lanes (North V South) and with that changes the prices. The North lanes have a wide variety of vintage shops many which sell items at low/reasonable prices. The South lanes have a lot of designer fashion and make-up shops such as Jack Wills and MAC.
The North lanes are, for this reason, personally my favourite. It also means that the North Lanes are home to some really unique fashion items. When deciding on whether to spend a large amount of money on a fashion item I ask myself these three questions- Is it unique? Is it excellent quality? Do I really need/ want it? Most times after asking these questions I put the item down.
However with this bag I did spend a larger amount of money then I'm used to spending. It passed all my questions and it was so beautifully made I just had to have it. I'm a romantic at heart and I had never seen something like this bag before it was just perfect.

This skirt was perfect for my body shape. I'm very petite so looking taller is a mission normally only achieved by heels, thankfully due to the vertical stripes on this dress it elongates my figure. It means you don't even have to wear heels with the skirt so you can still look dressed up while being comfortable! I got it from to be worn again for only £3!

These pants are a life saver. They are SO comfy and so easy to pair with other garments. You can choose to wear a tight top or at the moment I'm wearing jumpers with them so it means they are perfect transitional pieces. I got them both from SASSY in the North lanes which is unfortunately closing down but that means sale!
I have been looking for a tartan pink, white and black skirt for ages so when I found this skirt in the British Red Cross charity shop even though it was a size 12 I had to get it. I knew I could adjust it myself and for £1.99 (which is what everything is priced in that charity shop) I honestly couldn't say no.
Which was your favourite fashion item from the lanes?
