A day in the lanes-Brighton

A couple of days ago me and a friend went into Brighton for a catch up, shopping and some cake. For those of you that have never been to the lanes before you are really missing out on all the amazing unique shops that Brighton has to offer. I've never shopped anywhere else in England that has shops quite like the lanes. The only place of slight similarity is Camden market in London but even so it doesn't have the same friendly vibe of Brighton. Everything about Brighton from the unique fashion shops to the buskers on the side of the street make Brighton what it is.

If you've never been to Brighton before ,or just haven't been to the lanes, I took some photos of a few fashion pieces that truly represent how amazing the lanes can be! I would've got more photos but I hate to be on my phone too much when out with a friend.

Im not much of a fan of any jewelry apart from necklaces but this bracelet caught my eye. Although it has alot of decorations it does not look overcrowded due to the simplistic colours.

I absolutely feel in love with this bag! I went into the shop to have a look at it, the cover was felt and you could tell a great deal of care and detail had been put into place to make it.

I like to take a few days to think about a fashion item to see if I really want it or if it is just heat of the moment excitement. Especially if the item serves no practical use or is expensive! Needless to say I am still thinking about this bag. I have my theory test on Monday so if I pass I'm going to buy it as a treat for myself. If I fail? A commiseration gift! Either way Monday the bag will be mine...if it hasnt already gone!

Irregular choice is a shoe shop in the lanes which I am too scared to buy anything from. Honestly the shoes are such show stopping pieces I wouldn't have a clue what to pair them with! Whenever I go past the shop I do always have a look in the window and this particular day the shoes that caught my eye were Alice in wonderland inspired pieces. The shoes do often make me think of Grav3yardgirl A.K.A Bunny off youtube as she often buys wacky shoes.

Silver is really coming into fashion for fall so this jacket from JUJU in the lanes certainly caught my eye. The material was immensely soft! It was between buying this or the bag. I know the jacket I'd wear more but did you see the bag? Once I've fallen in love with a fashion item nothing can deter me.

The colour is perfect for day and night wear because of this it can either be dressed up or dressed down depending on the event that you are wearing it to. It certainly is a good transitional piece.
