One of the only things I hate about the spring/summer seasons has to be hay-fever. I cant help but rub my eyes red and I'm sneezing like crazy. I end up looking tired or like I've been crying for ages and apart from looks it can also make me feel slightly drained. If you're like me and suffer from hay-fever here are some tips and tricks to help combat it.

Take a shower and change your clothes after being outside to remove the pollen on your body

Or if you don't have time to do this make sure you wash your hands before touching your face to avoid getting pollen in your eyes.

Wear glasses to avoid pollen getting in your eyes

Make sure your glasses are clean.

Use Haymax

Haymax is a drug free pollen barrier that you apply round the bottom of your nostrils. Vaseline can however work just the same.

Hay-fever eye drops

Hay-fever eye drops such a opticrom are great for the relief of eye symptoms of hay-fever.

Taking hay-fever tablets before going out

Look for hay-fever tablets that say do not cause drowsiness or not likely to cause drowsiness.

I hope these tips will help lessen the side effects of your hay-fever. Hayfever isn't curable but by following these tips it will make your hayfever more manageable.
